The parents who took this picture are the most open minded people alive. I think this is the best photograph I’ve seen on Tumblr in my entire time of being here. I see no problem with it at all. I love this picture. I should make it my icon. So fuck you if you hate instead of love.

Personally, I hate when people post pictures of children kissing. Like, the cheek is whatever, but if they’re full-on lip locking, it’s just inappropriate. Not to mention, in this specific picture, I feel as though it’s exploiting the children. I highly doubt these little boys just kissed eachother and a parent happened to have a camera out. The parent probably suggested the kids pose for a photograph, and, being children, of course they didn’t object (unless they were in the ‘coodies’ phase). Neither of these little boys may grow up to discover that they’re gay, and neither of these boys are nearly old enough to be romantically involved with anyone. I get the point that the picture is showing how children have tolerance that many adults do not, and that nobody is born homophobic. HOWEVER, when these boys are older, and can make their own choices, they may end up embarrassed of this photo floating all over the internet. They may get bullied at school, someone may spread the photo around class some point in later elementary school, middle school, even. Yes, everyone SHOULD be accepting of all races, genders, religions, and sexuality. But this picture of children is out of line.
